Maria Tosti

She has always written poems, generally in Italian but also in English and Spanish. Between 1997 and 2001 she attended various italian competitions of Poetry gaining appreciated prizes, among which: (1999) first position at the “Arci Renzino” national competition in Foiano della Chiana (Tuscany), (1997) 12thposition at the “Ottavio Nipoti” national competition in Ferrera Erbognone (Lombardy), (2000) 6th position at the “La Conca” national competition in Rome(the honorary president of the jury was Eugenio Leopardi, descendant of the family of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi), (2001) honor certificate at the “Il Saggio” national competition in Eboli (Campania), (1998) merit certificate at the “Innocenza Selvaggi” national competition in Rome, (1998-1999) merit signalling at the “Trofeo Colle Armonioso” national competition in Florence (Tuscany), (1999) merit certificate at the Augusta national competition (Sicily), (2000) merit certificate at the “Quondamatteo” national competition in Riccione (Emilia Romagna), (2000) merit certificate at the “Vito De Bellis” national competition in Castellana Grotte (Apulia). Recently she has written texts for some Italian songs, conceiving the musical theme.
